Israeli Soldiers Bulldoze Lands, Uproot Olive Trees, Near Bethlehem

On Tuesday, Israeli soldiers invaded Palestinian farmlands in Wadi Fukin village, west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, before bulldozing four dunams and uprooting at least thirty olive saplings.

Ibrahim al-Hroub, the head of Wadi Fukin Village Council, said the military vehicles and bulldozers invaded farmlands in the al-Qabo area before bulldozing four Dunams in addition to uprooting at least thirty olive trees.

He added that Yasser Obeid and his brothers own the lands; however, the Israeli occupation army claims they are “state lands,” a move that usually precedes the confiscation to build the illegal Israeli colonies on the stolen lands.

The lands were illegally confiscated three weeks ago after the army informed the Palestinians that he was not allowed to enter or work on his land.

The latest violations came not long after two siblings, Fadi and Tareq Ishaq received a similar order for their land in the same area.
