Day 212: Israel’s Missiles Kill Dozens In Gaza

On Sunday, Day 212 of the ongoing Israeli genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people in the destroyed Gaza Strip, Israel’s missiles killed and injured dozens of Palestinians, including women and children, in several parts of the coastal enclave.

The Israeli army also committed three massacres against families, killing 32 Palestinians and wounding 41, mostly children and women, in the devastated Gaza Strip.

Media sources said the army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the coastal enclave, including densely populated residential blocks, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.

In Rafah, in the southmost part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired missiles at several homes in various parts of the city.

Medical sources said at least three Palestinians, two children and one man, from the Sheikh Al-Eid family, were killed in their home in the eastern part of Rafah, and many were injured.

The sources added that the army also killed and injured many Palestinians in homes in many areas in Rafah.

Also, Israeli military helicopters fired barrages of live rounds fleeing various bombarded areas in Rafah.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army bombarded homes and fired a missile at a mosque in Khan Younis, refugee camp, in addition to homes and a mosque east of Khan Younis city, causing many casualties.

In central Gaza, the army fired many artillery shells at homes and buildings in the Al-Mughraqa area, while the Air Force fired missiles at an agricultural land, north of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp.

The army wired and detonated dozens of homes and buildings in Al-Mughraqa, leveling entire areas.

The army also fired missiles and shells at buildings and agricultural lands in Zawaida and Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza.

Despite the constant bombing and shelling, Palestinian resistance fighters fired mortar shells at many Israeli military vehicles, east of the Al-Boreij refugee camp.

In Gaza City, Israel’s missiles and shells killed and injured several Palestinians, including a mother and her two children, who were killed in the Wadi Al-Arayes area, east of the Zeitoun neighborhood, in addition to two children who were killed after an Israeli drone fired a missile at them in the Sabra neighborhood, south of the city.

It is worth mentioning that after a Hamas delegation, officials from Qatar and the United States arrived in Qatar to start indirect ceasefire talks, Israel Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, refused to send the Israeli delegation and is rejecting any attempt to stop the war on the Gaza strip despite U.S attempts to convince him to send the delegation.

It is worth mentioning that, according to CNN, US, and Israeli officials said reaching a final agreement between Israel and Hamas could take several days of indirect negotiations, even if Hamas accepts a proposed deal, and added that some progress was made in certain technical aspects that could take a week to finalize, especially since some “important and difficult specifications need to be agreed upon.”

The Biden Administration expressed a “cautious optimism” about making progress in the talks, especially since previous negotiations collapsed at the last minute.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression by land, sea and air on the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, resulting in the death of more than 34,654 Palestinians, including at least 14873 children, 9801 women, 491 medical staff, 141 media workers and journalists, 152 UNRWA workers and 67 Civil Defense workers, and the injury of more than 77,908 others, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble and in the roads and cannot be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
