Israeli court renews sentence of Palestinian activist without trial

Youssef Laham

The Israeli occupation authorities renewed the administrative sentence of 41-year-old Palestinian detainee Youssef Laham for the fourth consecutive time.

The Ofer court issued the renewed term on account of a secret file that even Youssef’s defense attorneys were not able to see.

Youssef Laham, a prominent pro-Hamas relief activist, was last arrested by the Israeli occupation forces one year and a half ago. He has spent over 14 years in Israeli dungeons, including eight years in administrative detention, with neither charge nor trial.
