The Gaza Strip in Numbers

The Gaza Strip, is a strip of land on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea that borders Egypt on the southwest (11 km) and Occupied Palestine on the east and north (51 km (32 mi)).

The 41 kilometers long and 6 wide land encompasses a population of 1.7 million, who suffocate from the siege that has been imposed on the coastal clave since 2007. Not only that but also the Strip has been a major Zone in the Palestinian-“Israeli” conflict, particularly when Gaza was occupied by the Zionist entity in 1967, which inflicted its people with many calamities.
