Soldiers Shoot A Palestinian, Abduct Him And Nine Others In Jerusalem

On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers fired live rounds at Palestinian workers near the Dahiat Al-Barid area, north of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, wounding one before abducting him along with nine other workers.

Media sources said the Palestinians work in construction and were trying to enter Jerusalem when the soldiers fired many live rounds at them.

They added that the soldiers shot the Palestinian before abducting him along with nine other workers.

In related news, the soldiers assaulted a Palestinian child, causing various wounds, and fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades at residents and their homes in the Ar-Ram town, north of Jerusalem.

Also on Monday evening, the soldiers abducted a Palestinian and caused scores to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, in Anata town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

In related news, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, under the protection of Israeli soldiers, assaulted and repeatedly beat an elderly Palestinian man and a young man in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

On Monday night, extremist paramilitary Israeli colonizers torched Palestinian lands in the village of Qusra, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
