On Friday and Saturday, Israeli forces shot five Palestinian young men and abducted two of the wounded young men after tying one of them on the hood of their jeep, using him as a human shield, and abducted four other Palestinians in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin.

On Saturday morning, occupation forces shot two Palestinian young men, and abducted one of them, at the “Dotan” military roadblock, southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

Media sources said that Israeli soldiers stationed at the military roadblock opened fire with live rounds at two young men, shooting one in the abdomen and one in the thigh.

The sources added that soldiers abducted one of the wounded men and allowed the transfer of another wounded young man to a Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance crew.

The soldiers also shot three Palestinian young men with live ammunition, abducted five, including one of the wounded young men, and burned a citizen’s vehicle in the city of Jenin.

A large military force conducted a large-scale search operation, invading and searching several citizens’ homes, abducting four unidentified young men.

Soldiers besieged a home in the “Al-Jabriyyat” neighborhood and demanded over a loudspeaker that they surrender, while firing many live rounds.

According to Wissam Bakr, the director of the Jenin Governmental Hospital, occupation forces shot three young men with live ammunition at that time.

The soldiers also tied one of the wounded young men to the hood of a military jeep, later identified as Mujahed Azmi, in a cruel act of humiliation, using him as a military shield, and denied him the right to medical treatment, before blocking ambulance crews from approaching him, in a direct violation of International Law.

The wounded young man was subsequently abducted by the army; the nature and severity of his wounds, in addition to his identity, were not known at the time of writing this report.

It was also reported that the army burned a vehicle belonging to the slain Palestinian, Bahaa Abu Al-Haija, in the “Al-Jabriyyat” neighborhood, occupied a home and used it as a military observation point.
