Coalition’s General Assembly Stresses it Will Continue Work with UN to Reach Political Solution in Geneva

The Syrian Coalition’s General Assembly concluded its 37th regular meeting on Sunday. It strongly condemned the brutal massacres being committed by the Assad regime and its allies against Syrian civilians. The General Assembly stressed the need for the international community to urgently intervene to stop the brutal attacks on Syrian civilians, especially in Idlib, Hama and eastern Ghouta. The Syrian Coalition said that Minister of Health in the Syrian Interim Government Mohammed Firas al-Jundi was injured and his driver, Hussam al-Mandil, was killed in airstrikes on the town of Ma’arat al-Nu’man in rural Idlib on Thursday. Syrian Coalition Official: Russia & Iran are Partners in Crimes Against Syrians

An official in the Syrian Coalition stressed that Russia and Iran are not committed to international resolutions on Syria, adding that they are partners in all the crimes the Assad regime is committing against Syrian civilians. Member of the Coalition’s political committee Okab Yahya said that Moscow is exploiting the inaction of the world community to unilaterally impose its agenda for solution in Syria. Russian Warplanes Commit Two Massacres in Southern & Eastern Idlib Province Sunday

Activists in Idlib province said that at least 16 civilians were killed and dozens more injured in Russian airstrikes on southern and eastern Idlib on Sunday. Russian jets carried out multiple airstrikes on the village of Falaoul in southern rural Idlib, killing 12 civilians and causing massive damage to residential building and public property. Rural Damascus Provincial Council Condemns Int’l Silence on Onslaught on Eastern Ghouta

Rural Damascus Provincial Council condemned the silence of the international community over the Assad regime and Russia’s brutal bombardment of residential neighborhoods and civilian areas in eastern Ghouta. Syrian Coalition: Russia’s Military Operations & Crimes Continue Unabated

Russia has expanded its military operations in Damascus and its suburbs as well as in Idlib province, resulting in dozens of civilian deaths and knocking a hospital in rural Idlib out of service. Local news networks said that airstrikes by the Assad regime killed 18 people in the town of Misraba and six others in the town of Irbeen in eastern Ghouta on Wednesday.
