The Israeli police on Saturday evening arrested four young men in Umm al-Fahm city in Haifa on allegations of throwing stones and burning a tire at the main entrance to the city.
According to 48 news website, plain-clothes police officers rounded up the young men near the city hall following a demonstration staged at the entrance to Umm al-Fahm in support of the Aqsa Mosque.
On Friday, another young man was arrested by the police on suspicion of torching a tire.
Umm al-Fahm city has been witnessing daily raids on homes and arrests among Palestinian citizens since the shooting attack that was carried out a week ago by three local young men.
