Efforts have been in full swing by the Israeli occupation army to boost security around settlements built on 1948 occupied Palestinian land near Gaza borders.
According to the Hebrew-speaking Channel 7, efforts have been made since the end of the 2014 offensive on the besieged coastal enclave of Gaza to tighten military grip near Gaza border and protect Israeli settlements in the area.
Tough cordons and apartheid fences have been set up around Israeli settlements near Gaza border in anticipation of emergency cases.
Two-day military maneuvers have been initiated by the Israeli army near Gaza borders as of Wednesday at a time of heightened tensions in the area following the tightening of the siege imposed on the coastal enclave on the part of Israel and the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah.
