RAMALLAH, June 4, 2017 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Sunday condemned the terrorist attack in the London Bridge area Saturday night, which left seven people killed and dozens injured.

“We extend our sincere condolences to the Queen, government and people of the United Kingdom and to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack,” said Abbas in a statement.

He added: “We will always reject terrorism in all its forms.”

On Saturday night, seven people were killed and dozens more injured after a white van struck pedestrians on the London Bridge and continued to drive to the nearby Borough Market.

British media said the suspects left the vehicle and stabbed a number of people while the London Ambulance Service said it had taken at least 48 wounded to five hospitals across London.

The London Bridge attack is the third to hit the country this year following the Westminster and Manchester attacks.
