The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) confiscated on Monday Palestinian drilling equipment and bulldozers in the northern Jordan Valley to prevent the construction of a farm road, and threatened to arrest citizens if the work continued.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that IOF soldiers detained four Palestinian workers rehabilitating a farm road serving Bardala and Khirbet Abziq villages in the Jordan Valley and interrogated them before confiscating the drilling equipment and bulldozers in the site.
The activist in the Jordan Valley Abdullah al-Horoub told the PIC reporter that the IOF imposed a ban on all infrastructure projects aimed at serving Khirbet Abziq village.
He pointed out that the village was announced as a military zone, and that there is a scheme to displace its residents who work in sheep herding and agriculture.
