Hamas chooses a new leadership in Israeli jails

The Central Election Commission of Hamas prisoners in Israeli jails announced on Saturday the results of the senior leadership body elections for the transport of prisoners in the prisons of the 2017/2019 cycle

The elections took place in accordance with the applicable rules of the movement of prisoners and included all prisons and detention centers in four phases:

First stage: the election of the Shura Council, composed of 51 members, divided into different prisons and detention centers

Second stage: Election of a senior leadership body of the members of the public consultation, consisting of 11 members, plus four leaders of the four largest prisons (Negev, Ofer, Raymond, Megiddo), bringing the number of members of this body  on 15 members

Third stage: the election of the senior leadership body of the movement of prisoners

Fourth stage: Election of a Vice-President of the High Commission for Prisoners of leadership movement

Based on the results announced by the chief election commissioner prisoner Muhannad Shreim, the new Hamas prisoners confidence for the second time prisoners should be cared Mohammad Arman, head of the highest leadership body of the movement of detainees in prisons, prisoner Abbas, Mr Vice-President.
