The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) released Monday evening the oldest serving administrative detainee Rizk Rajoub, 60, after he spent 29 months in administrative detention.
Spokesman for Palestine Center for Prisoners’ Studies said that Rajoub was re-arrested on July 2, 2014 and since then he was held in administrative detention without charge or trial.
Rajoub’s administrative detention came only two weeks after his last arrest where he had spent more than four years behind Israeli bars.
As a whole, Rajoub spent more than 20 years in Israeli jails in separate arrests, mostly in administrative detention.
Rajoub suffers health problems as he underwent two medical surgeries only few days before his detention.
