Army Abducts Fourteen Palestinians, Including Children, In The West Bank
The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, late at night and on Wednesday at dawn, fourteen Palestinians, including several children, in different parts of the West Bank, including in occupied East Jerusalem.
The Hebron office of the PPS, in the southern part of the West Bank, said the soldiers have abducted five Palestinians, including three children from the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, after invading their homes and violently searching them.
It identified the abducted Palestinians as Sharaf Wael Ballassi, 15, Hamza Sharif, 16, Saif Sharif, 15, Ramadan Darwish Abu Ramouz, 51, and his brother Sha’ban, 47.
In related news, the soldiers invaded ‘Aneen village, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and abducted one Palestinian, identified as Mohammad Mousa Yassin, in addition to detaining many Palestinians at a roadblock the army installed on the main road of Zabbouba village.
In Tulkarem, in the northern part of the West Bank, the soldiers searched homes and abducted one Palestinian, identified as Baha-Eddin Nathmi Jayyousi, 25.
On Tuesday at night, the soldiers invaded many Palestinian homes in the central West Bank district of Ramallah and al-Biereh, and abducted seven Palestinians, including three children.
The abducted Palestinians have been identified as Mohammad Nassar al-Amir, 12, Rami Thieb S 12, his twin brother Luay, 12, Khader Abdul-Hafith Tamimi, 19, and Mohammad Jamal Tamimi, 21, all from Deir Netham village, northwest of Ramallah.
Also in Ramallah, the soldiers abducted Luay Abdul-Rahman Saleh, 24, and Emad Wajeeh Saleh, 27, after stopping him at the Atara military roadblock, north of Ramallah.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted a child, identified as Mohammad Dari, 14.
In Gaza, Israeli navy ships opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats, in the Sea area, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
