50 Palestinians injured as clashes erupts in O. Jerusalem
Dozens of Palestinians were injured Wednesday evening as clashes broke out in Abu Dis town east of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources said that the clashes erupted when Israeli police forces stormed al-Quds University amid heavy fire of tear gas bombs and rubber bullets.
Dozens of injuries were reported among the students, eyewitnesses said.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society affirmed that at least ten students suffered rubber bullet injuries while 39 others suffered teargas inhalation.
Another student suffered burns and shrapnel wounds, the sources added.
