Palestinian freedom of movement restricted in Jordan Valley
Tight Israeli restrictions were imposed Monday afternoon on Palestinian movement in the Jordan Valley near Tubas city due to Israeli military drills.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that Israeli forces closed Taysir checkpoint in the area and prevented Palestinian vehicles’ movement in both directions.
The Israeli restrictions came as Israeli forces were deployed in large numbers since the early morning hours to conduct military drills in the area.
The IOF soldiers also closed the road leading to Baziq hamlet, east of Tubas, and displaced dozens of families under the pretext of conducting military drills.
