Protests in Moroccan cities against normalizing relations with Israel
Scores of Moroccan citizens on Friday took to the streets in several cities to denounce their government for seeking to normalize relations with Israel and allowing its officials to participate in the climate change conference in Marrakech.
Dozens of protest rallies were organized following the Friday prayers by the Moroccan commission for advocating the nation’s issues in Casablanca, Meknes, Agadir and Tangier, Tetouan, Tiflet and Khemisset.
The participants chanted slogans and carried banners and placards rejecting all forms of normalization between their country and Israel and demanding their government to renounce any relations with it.
