Israeli soldiers kill Palestinian youth after car-ramming attack
Israeli occupation soldiers gunned down a Palestinian young man after ramming his car into a group of border policemen to the north of al-Khalil on Sunday evening.
The Hebrew website site 0404 said that a Palestinian youth rammed his car into a group of Israeli border policemen along the road between al-Khalil and Bethlehem and injured 3 of them before other soldiers opened fire at him and left him to bleed to death.
The Palestinian ministry of health identified the casualty as 23-year-old youth Khalil Khaled Ulayan, from Beit Ummar town in al-Khalil.
A big number of occupation forces rushed to the scene of the incident and closed the main road leading to Beit Ummar causing a traffic jam before taking away the young man’s body.
The PIC reporter said that violent clashes took place between the Israeli occupation forces and young men after the incident, adding that the IOF soldiers were deployed along the main road near the town.
The death of Ulayan brings the number of Palestinians killed at the hands of IOF soldiers since the outbreak of the Jerusalem Intifada in early October last year to 262 including 78 from al-Khalil.
