Israeli occupation forces opened fire on Monday morning at electricians repairing electricity grids south of Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses said that the electricians were carrying out maintenance work on electricity lines in the eastern suburbs of the town of Khuzaa, east of Khan Younis.

The electricians were obliged to immediately stop their work and flee. They left their equipment behind them.

Palestinian ministry of health sources said that no casualties were resulted in this Israeli shooting, but they noted that the Gaza hospitals are in dire conditions due to the sever electricity shortages.

For a couple of days, electricity in the Gaza Strip is only six hours on and 12 hours off due to the alleged damages of the Egyptian and Israeli electricity lines.

Meanwhile, the Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip, causing no casualties.
